<p><strong>1. Membership cost</strong> &#8211; This is a big one that can have severe negative effects on your bank balance if you don&#8217;t pick the right one from the start. You must work out your needs in this area. How many times per week will you be going? Will you be using other facilities or taking part in other classes such as yoga? What is the minimum amount of time I can get membership for? Make sure that you are aware of your situation because to many people get all pumped up about signing up with the brand new &#8220;hot&#8221; gym and then they go a few times and then give up and they are lumped with membership fee&#8217;s month after month. Make sure that you shop around in order to find the best deal as well, membership prices can vary immensly from place to place.</p>
<p><strong>2. Location, location, location</strong> &#8211; This is paramount! The gym you choose should be as close to either home or work as possible, with the preference being that it is close to both. If the gym is close to you it will help with the motivation factor. You don&#8217;t want to spend ages driving to and from the gym you will be more likely to get fed up and procrastinate.</p>
<p><strong>3. Fitness Trainers</strong> &#8211; It is a good idea to sign up with a gym that has certified personal trainers. Even if you currently do not use or need one it&#8217;s always good to know that you can tap into their knowledge base whenever you need. Plus you never know when you might want to get their services for instance if you want to radically change your workouts or if you hit a plateau.</p>
<p><strong>4. Exercise Equipment</strong> &#8211; An extremely important factor of finding the perfect gym for you is the exercise equipment. If you prefer to use free weights then you need to make sure that they have enough available even when they are busy.</p>
<p>If you use machines the once again make sure that they have enough variety that will hit all muscle groups and the same goes for exercise bikes and treatmills etc.</p>
<p>A lot of frustration can be caused in the gym when all you want to do is pump out your workout but you have to wait too long in between sets because there is no exercise equipment available.</p>
<p><strong>5. Cancellation Policy</strong> &#8211; This is a big one! When your considering signing up for membership it is always a good idea to discuss their cancellation policies. If you line of work could have you locating in the near future, it&#8217;s always good to have the posibility to be able to have a flexible cancelation policy. They may partially refund you or you could even pay them a low cost to break the membership. But as always shop around for this as well.</p>

<p>1: Cardio respiratory endurance &#8211; the body&#8217;s ability to deliver oxygen and nutrients to tissues and organs and the ability to utilize them over sustained periods of time. This component is illustrated during long-distance running or swimming.</p>
<p>2: Muscular Strength &#8211; the ability of your muscles to exert force. This component is illustrated when lifting or moving heavy objects such as doing a weightlifting workout.</p>
<p>3: Muscular Endurance &#8211; the ability of your muscles to exert force or to perform repetitive movements over prolonged periods of time. This component can be tested by doing sit ups or push-ups</p>
<p>4: Flexibility &#8211; the ability to move our joints and muscles through their full range of motion. This can be seen when doing stretches or splits.</p>
<p>5: Body Composition &#8211; this refers to the ratio of lean muscle to fats in the body. A good fitness program should include each of these five components of health-related fitness. You should begin each workout session with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and low intensity warm-ups. Cardio respiratory endurance can be improved by doing at least 20 minutes per session of aerobic activity. This can be in the form of jogging, bicycling, brisk walking, rowing, swimming or playing tennis or racquetball. Lifting weights whether free weights or strength machines will help you improve your muscular strength. Muscular endurance can be improved by doing push-ups sit ups or pull ups. Flexibility can be improved by doing 10 minutes of stretching exercises a couple times per week.</p>
<p>By including each of the first four components in your fitness program you will improve the fifth component by increasing the amount of lean muscle in your body and reducing the amount of fats.</p>
